About The Position

Under the direction of the Manager of Medical Imaging, the MRI Technologist is responsible for the timely and efficient operation of the MRI scanner and the workflow process as well as patient safety. Performs the OEM mandated quality control. Coordinates scheduling modalities for efficient patient throughput. In addition to performing the essential functions of the job, may also be assigned to other duties as required.

Requirements

  • Basic Life Support, Required.

Nice To Haves

  • Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology Program, Preferred.
  • Registered Radiologic Technologist (A.R.R.T.), Preferred
  • Certified Radiologic Technologist by the State of California Preferred.
  • AART registry and/or ARMRIT certification desired, or will receive certification within one year from date of hire
  • Two years MRI experience, Preferred.
