PRN MRI Technologist
About The Position
As an MRI Technologist, you will provide high-quality diagnostic imaging and an exceptional patient experience. You will perform MRI exams safely and efficiently while helping patients feel comfortable and cared for throughout their visit. This PRN opportunity is for an experienced technologist who enjoys flexibility and is comfortable working as needed in an outpatient imaging environment. Shifts are available as needed for staffing coverage. The MRI Department is open seven days a week, with day and evening shifts available. Shifts may be picked up at outpatient imaging centers in Louisville (7807 Shelbyville Road or 5227 Dixie Highway) and Elizabethtown (1111 Woodland Drive), Kentucky.
Requirements
- Minimum associate's degree in Radiology or graduation from an accredited two-year radiology program.
- Current, valid registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiography or the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT).
- Advanced MRI registration through ARRT or ARMRIT is required upon hire.
- Meet applicable state licensure requirements for the state in which the technologist practices.
