About The Position
Lumexa Imaging is seeking a registered MRI Technologist for a full-time position at a new outpatient imaging center in West Ashley, SC. As a registered MRI Technologist, you will perform high-quality scans while providing excellent customer care and service to patients. This new American Health Imaging West Ashley center is scheduled to open in December 2026. The work schedule is Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- ARRT registered with advanced certification in MRI (ARRT-MR) required.
- Current CPR certification required.
- IV certification/skills required.
- Strong understanding of cross-sectional anatomy and MRI imaging principles.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience as an MRI Technologist preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality MRI examinations in accordance with physician orders and established protocols.
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered care while ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process.
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of MRI safety, anatomy, and imaging techniques.
- Prepare patients for procedures, including IV administration when appropriate.
- Collaborate with radiologists and clinical team members to deliver exceptional service and quality care.
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all regulatory and quality standards.
