About The Position

Lumexa Imaging, a large provider of outpatient medical imaging, is seeking an ARRT registered MRI Technologist for a full-time position at their Augusta outpatient imaging center. This role involves performing high-quality MRI examinations, providing patient-centered care, and collaborating with the clinical team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of MRI safety, anatomy, and imaging techniques, along with excellent patient care and communication skills. The position is based at American Health Imaging Augusta.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT registered with advanced certification in MRI (ARRT-MR) required.
• Current CPR certification required.
• IV certification/skills required.
• Strong understanding of cross-sectional anatomy and MRI imaging principles.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience as an MRI Technologist preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality MRI examinations in accordance with physician orders and established protocols.
• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care while ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process.
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of MRI safety, anatomy, and imaging techniques.
• Prepare patients for procedures, including IV administration when appropriate.
• Collaborate with radiologists and clinical team members to deliver exceptional service and quality care.
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all regulatory and quality standards.
