About The Position

Mobile Health Team Inc. is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Pittsfield, MA. This position involves night shifts and requires the technologist to work with another team member, never solo after midnight. The role requires initiative, independent judgment, and proper patient care in accordance with departmental and hospital policies. The technologist will perform radiation therapy treatments, simulations, dosimetry functions, and fabricate blocks. They will manage daily treatment schedules, observe safety features, and collaborate with reception, nursing, and physician staff. The ability to function independently in a high-stress environment and attend all mandatory education is essential.

Requirements

  • 2 Years CURRENT Magnetic Resonance Imaging/MRI experience
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists ARRT (MRI) Certification is required
  • GE Equipment experience Required
  • Meditech Expanse experience is highly preferred
  • Must be willing to work weekends and evenings
  • Must be willing to take call as needed
  • Traveler must have their own vehicle
  • Perm address must be included in traveler profile
  • Must have and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification during employment
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
  • Willingness to participate in continuing education and training programs
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently

  • Drug screen and background check (facility required)
  • Additional facility onboarding forms as assigned

Responsibilities

  • Administers radiation treatments, simulations, dosimetry functions, and fabricates blocks in preparation for treatment.
  • Performs radiation therapy treatments as required in either a scheduled or emergent environment under the supervision of the Radiation Oncologist.
  • Updates procedure manuals as needed.
  • Manages daily treatment schedule of all assignments on the clinical equipment.
  • Observes and demonstrates familiarity with all safety features in each clinical area.
  • Works closely with reception, Nursing, and physician components in the provision of patient care.
