About The Position

The MRI Technologist provides diagnostic imaging services using magnetic resonance imaging to support accurate diagnosis and treatment. The role performs MRI procedures, image acquisition, processing, and post-processing to produce high-quality images for interpretation by a radiologist or licensed independent practitioner. The technologist applies professional judgment, adapts to varying patient conditions, and maintains patient safety, high-quality care, and medical ethics. The position is based at the Hamburg location and is part-time on the first shift.

Requirements

• Completion of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology or Magnetic Resonance Imaging.
• Current advanced ARRT (MRI) or ARMRIT certification, or eligibility with completion within one year of hire.
• Current BLS certification.
• Minimum of one year of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI procedures utilizing radio-frequency waves and magnetic energy to assist in diagnosis and treatment.
• Conduct image acquisition, processing, and post-processing to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
• Participate in on-call rotations as required to support departmental and patient care needs.
• Exercise professional judgment while maintaining a demeanor consistent with medical ethics and patient-centered care.
• Assess and respond to varying patient conditions to ensure appropriate care and successful completion of exams and procedures.
