About The Position

BJC HealthCare System is hiring a Full-Time MRI Technologist – Outpatient at South County Center for Advanced Med (CAM). This is an outpatient facility position with day shifts, offering either 4 days per week with 10-hour shifts or 3 days per week with 12-hour shifts until 8 pm. The role involves performing diagnostic imaging procedures in the MRI advanced imaging modality on adults and/or pediatric patients for diagnosis and/or treatment, and quality control. This is an Advanced Modality Technologist position.

Requirements

• Associate degree or higher in related field
• Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography - R.T.(R) and/or MR
• RT(R), MR or equivalent
• Experience in MR, CT, RT, X-ray, Radiology, Medical Imaging, ARRT, BD, CI, N, VI, ASRT, Radiologic, Rad Tech, Student Radiology, Student in clinicals, General Radiology (X-Ray Tech), Radiologic Technologist, Radiographer, Rad Tech, Radiology Tech, Medical Imaging, RT, ARRT, MRI Graduate, magnetic resonance imaging, ARMRIT, MR, MRI Radiographer OR
• Associate or Trade School Equi
• No Experience
• No Experience Supervisor Experience
• IEMA - Illinois only, excl MRI
• RTR,CT,MR,M,BD,CI,VI,RCIS,RCES

Nice To Haves

• <2 years experience
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation
• Intravenous Therapy

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic imaging procedures in MRI advanced imaging modality on adults and/or pediatric patients for the purpose of diagnosis and/or treatment, and quality control.
• Prepares patient and equipment for procedures.
• Performs studies independently, in on-call situations, portable exams, and other site as required by work area.
