This position also involves assisting in training new MRI technologists and students, performing all filming, archiving, and PACS network data management for each patient scanned, and retrieving old MRI data for restoration and filming or networking. The technologist will master new techniques with each subsequent scanner upgrade and receive training and guidance from more senior technologists, including orientation to the department's infrastructure, policies, protocols, workflows, procedures, and routines. The role is responsible for scanning patients safely and efficiently, completing all associated paper and computer work, and discharging the patient with appropriate post-MRI instructions.
