About The Position

The MRI Technologist provides diagnostic imaging services using magnetic resonance imaging to support accurate diagnosis and treatment. The role performs MRI procedures, image acquisition, processing, post-processing, and related techniques to produce high-quality images for interpretation by a radiologist or licensed independent practitioner. The technologist applies professional judgment, participates in on-call coverage as required, and maintains high standards of patient care and medical ethics. The role adapts to varying patient conditions to ensure safe, effective, and high-quality examinations. The MRI Department provides advanced magnetic resonance imaging services and collaborates with radiologists and clinical teams to support diagnosis and treatment planning while maintaining patient safety, image quality, and compliance with clinical and regulatory standards.

Requirements

Completion of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology or Magnetic Resonance Imaging.
Current advanced ARRT (MRI) or ARMRIT certification, or eligibility with completion within one year of hire.
Current BLS certification.
Minimum of one year of related experience.

Responsibilities

Perform MRI procedures using radio-frequency waves and magnetic energy to assist in diagnosis and treatment.
Conduct image acquisition, processing, and post-processing to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
Participate in on-call rotations as required to support departmental and patient care needs.
Exercise professional judgment while maintaining a demeanor consistent with medical ethics and patient-centered care.
Assess and respond to varying patient conditions to ensure appropriate care and successful completion of examinations and procedures.
