About The Position

Outpatient Diagnostic Centers of Alabama, a wholly owned center of Outpatient Imaging Affiliates, LLC, is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist to join their growing team serving the Huntsville and Madison communities. Requirements

  • Minimum associate's degree in Radiology or graduate of an accredited two-year radiology program.
  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in Radiography, or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMIT) and maintain current valid registration from ARRT or ARMIT.
  • MR advanced registration through ARRT or ARMIT is required upon hire.
  • Must meet the state licensure requirement for the state in which they practice.

Responsibilities

  • Operate MRI equipment to perform diagnostic imaging procedures.
  • Position patients and ensure their comfort and safety during scans.
  • Administer contrast agents as required.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and radiation protection guidelines.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
  • Perform routine equipment quality control checks and maintenance.
