About The Position

Join Intermountain Health as an MRI Technologist at Intermountain Medical Center, a Level I Trauma Center serving a diverse patient population and performing a broad range of MRI procedures. In this role, you'll perform advanced diagnostic imaging while working alongside a collaborative team dedicated to exceptional patient care and clinical excellence.

Requirements

• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)(MR) or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT) or American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)(R) cross-trained in MRI
• Basic Life Support certification (BLS) for healthcare providers
• IV Competency within 30 days of hire

Nice To Haves

• 1-2 years of MRI technologist experience
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution

Responsibilities

• Verify patient identity, review orders, and prepare patients for MRI examinations.
• Perform MRI examinations according to department protocols while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and quality care.
• Operate MRI equipment and related information systems while maintaining accurate patient documentation.
• Follow MRI safety guidelines, infection prevention practices, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with radiologists, providers, caregivers, and support staff to deliver excellent patient care.
• Assist with training and mentoring students and team members as needed.
