About The Position

The Senior MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) Technologist operates imaging equipment and software, mostly MRI equipment, to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. This role requires operating imaging equipment, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining high-quality imaging standards. Responsibilities also include serving as lead when leadership is unavailable and assisting new caregiver orientation and training. The MRI Technologist position also requires a strong commitment to patient care, technical expertise, and collaborative communication with patients and healthcare professionals to provide optimal care.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited Imaging Program and completion of required clinical hours.
One (1) year of relevant experience OR graduate of Bachelor degree program.
State licensure may be required depending on the specific state of practice.
ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification.
BLS Basic Life Support certification.

Nice To Haves

MRSO (Magnetic Resonance Safety Officer) or MRSE (Magnetic Resonance Safety Expert) certification.
Ability to lead and motivate a team.
Strong decision-making and conflict resolution skills.
Thorough understanding of protocols and ability to make adjustments as needed.
