About The Position

The MRI Technologist will perform quality MRI images per physician’s orders while providing excellent service to patients. This is a part-time position (0.9 FTE). Twin Cities Orthopedics is an operating division of Infinite Health Collaborative (i-Health), a group of local medical practices, owned and led by its physicians, on a mission to give patients more control over their healthcare.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an ARRT or ARMRIT approved program
  • ARRT Certification Magnetic Resonance, ARMRIT Certified, or a minimum of 1 year of full-time experience in an MRI department required.

Responsibilities

  • Perform MRI procedures in close proximity to super conducting magnet on designated portions of the body for physicians’ use in diagnosing and treating illness or injury
  • Inform and prepare patients for procedures including researching implanted devices
  • Maintain patient files, including internal and external films
  • Prepare, clean and stock work area with supplies
  • Coordinates equipment maintenance and repair
  • Maintains the necessary precautions for excessive radiofrequency exposure
  • May include IV contrast administration as needed
  • Any and all other duties as assigned
