About The Position
This position involves working in a fast-paced and high-acuity setting. It is essential for candidates to have strong experience with the required skills. Patient types include inpatient and outpatient, primarily adults with occasional pediatric outpatients/ED cases. Travelers will primarily work in the main Radiology department but may rotate through different areas. Orientation consists of 1 eight-hour hospital orientation along with 2-3 shifts on the unit, typically on day shifts with another tech.
Requirements
- 1 year of experience for skilled travelers
- 2 years of experience for first-time travelers with required skills
- BLS certification
- ARRT certification (R)-MR or ARMRIT for MRI Technologists
- Markers must be purchased by technicians
Responsibilities
- Perform MR Procedures: Head/Neck, Abdomen, Pelvis, Spine, Extremities, MRAs
- Utilize EMR: Cerner
- Operate MRI Equipment: GE Artist 1.5T
