About The Position
The MRI Technologist utilizes magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) equipment to produce tomographic films of designated portions of the human body.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology/Radiography or an accredited Magnetic Resonance Imaging Program.
- Registered Technologist by ARRT (RT), Registered MRI Technologist by ARRT (MR), or ARMRIT (MR).
- Certification in the American Heart Association’s Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).
Nice To Haves
- One year of experience in MRI.
- Additional life support credential (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical specialty certifications in specific units.
- Visual color acuity, depending on the role in specific units.
