About The Position

This position is responsible for MRI technologist duties. Responsibilities include performing MRI procedures, (setting up, scanning and filming). The position also is responsible for communication with radiologists and other physicians, patients and their families, and other persons. Additional responsibilities include performing quality control and reporting tasks, maintaining day-to-day schedules, assisting radiologist, handling medication within scope of license, starting IV's and contributing to the efficient operation of the department assuring the quality and continuity of patient care. Requirements

  • Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technologist Training Program or Coursework/Training: MRI Technologist Training Program
  • Upon hire: Washington Radiologic Technologist
  • WA State Radiologic Technologist (RT) License with MR designation
  • Upon hire: National Registered Technologist - Magnetic Resonance Imaging or Upon hire: National Certified MRI Technologist - American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists
  • Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
