About The Position

MedQuest Imaging is seeking a full-time MRI Technologist for their West Ashley Diagnostic center. This position involves completing MRI scans effectively and efficiently, maintaining the highest standards of patient care, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements. The role also includes opportunities for continuing education and cross-training. Requirements

Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program
ARRT registered with advanced registry in MRI
Must complete required CEU's in a timely manner to ensure Certification remains active
Active state licensure, where applicable
CPR Certification is required
0+ years of experience as a Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Technologist, required
IV skills required
Knowledge of MRI procedures and standards
Demonstrate adequate knowledge of anatomy
Skill in operation of MRI equipment
Customer service background and focus

Nice To Haves

2+ years of experience as an MRI Technologist, preferred

Responsibilities

Complete scans effectively and efficiently, including collecting patient data, selecting appropriate action plans, screening for safety, positioning patients, preparing and administering contrast agents, entering patient information, assessing patient status, reviewing images, and documenting data.
Maintain the highest standards of patient care by implementing customer service programs, providing clear explanations, ensuring accuracy in positioning and technique, maintaining equipment, sharing knowledge, and monitoring cryogens for safety.
Ensure compliance with MedQuest policies, OSHA, and other regulatory requirements by following radiation protection guidelines, participating in training, meeting deadlines, performing quality assurance activities, and maintaining confidentiality.
Engage in continuing education by cross-training for additional modalities, completing and retaining certification in MRI technology, and building education files.
Perform other duties as assigned.
