About The Position

Reedsburg Area Medical Center is hiring an MRI Technologist to join our team! Join a team where advanced technology meets compassionate care. Requirements

• Graduate of a school of Radiologic Technology
• BLS certified
• Registered by the ARRT
• Currently licensed as a Radiographer in the State of Wisconsin
• At least two (2) years of experience performing MRIs
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Possesses interpersonal skills necessary to interact effectively with patients and families
• Ability to handle multiple tasks
• Ability to use computers, fax machines and possess proper phone skills
• Ability to function effectively in a team-oriented environment

Nice To Haves

• Advanced certification in MRI preferred

Responsibilities

• Operate state-of-the-art MRI equipment
• Ensure patient comfort and safety
• Work closely with radiologists and healthcare teams to deliver accurate and timely results
• Perform MRI examinations, including breast and cardiac exams of patients of all ages for the purpose of assisting in the diagnosis of patient illnesses
• Assist the MRI Lead Technologist with policies and procedures
• Perform other Radiology Department duties as assigned by the Director of Medical Imaging
• Contribute to the efficient operation of the department, ensuring the quality and continuity of patient care
