About The Position
We are seeking a full-time MRI Technologist to join our team in Fairbanks, AK. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing MRI procedures in a professional and efficient manner. This role involves producing high-quality images, educating patients, maintaining accurate documentation, and performing prescribed invasive/interventional procedures as applicable. The position may require floating between inpatient and outpatient settings.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of professional experience as an MRI Technologist.
- Certification from the ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists).
Responsibilities
- Accurately perform MRI procedures by following and verifying the orders from referring providers.
- Educate patients and their families about the procedures and treatments being conducted.
- Demonstrate professionalism and foster teamwork in all interactions to ensure quality patient outcomes.
- Produce high-quality images and prepare them for timely interpretation alongside relevant patient information.
- Maintain accurate documentation and perform prescribed invasive/interventional procedures as applicable and in accordance with established policies.
