MRI Technologist
About The Position
Metro MRI Center is an independently owned diagnostic imaging facility serving the Quad City area and surrounding communities at three locations. The MRI Technologist performs MRI examinations using high-field 3T and 1.5T scanners to demonstrate anatomy for interpretation and/or intervention by or at the request of a licensed practitioner. The role ensures patient safety and comfort, reviews images for diagnostic quality, and trains and assists new MRI Technologists. The position is on-site in Moline, Illinois, with flex locations within a 15-mile radius and the ability to respond to on-call locations within 45 minutes.
Requirements
- Advanced MR registry (ARRT or ARMRIT) preferred, or must be obtained within one year of hire.
- Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy.
- Knowledge of the principles and physics of Magnetic Resonance Imaging.
- BLS certification and IV skills.
- Able to respond to on-call locations within 45 minutes.
Nice To Haves
- One to three years of experience as an MRI Technologist is preferred.
- Advanced MR registry (ARRT or ARMRIT).
