About The Position

Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist for a high-volume acute care hospital setting. The technologist will perform diagnostic MRI scans while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and imaging accuracy. This role requires prior MRI hospital experience, strong knowledge of MRI safety protocols, and experience with GE MRI equipment.

Requirements

• Associate’s Degree in Radiologic Technology
• Minimum 1 year MRI experience
• Recent acute care/hospital MRI experience required
• Experience with GE MRI equipment
• ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification
• Active New York State Radiologic Technologist License
• Strong knowledge of MRI safety protocols

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI scans based on physician orders and protocols
• Operate MRI equipment safely to produce high-quality diagnostic images
• Prepare, position, and monitor patients during procedures
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout imaging process
• Maintain accurate imaging and patient documentation
• Follow MRI safety and infection control standards
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and healthcare staff
• Ensure proper equipment operation and routine maintenance
• Comply with hospital policies and regulatory requirements
