About The Position

The primary purpose of this position is to facilitate MRI services for the BRIC utilizing technical and administrative expertise. Technical responsibilities include ensuring the safety of research subjects during research studies and conducting MRI, MR/PET, PET/CT, and CT studies with and without radioactive nuclides. Administrative responsibilities include managing the scheduling system for imaging research services, adhering to safety standards and SOPs, accurately logging machine time usage for billing, and managing relationships with multiple investigators. This role involves caring for research subjects and clinical patients of all ages, from infants as young as 2 weeks to adults, including those who are very ill or nearing the end of life. Applicants should be comfortable working with subjects/patients of all ages and health statuses.

Requirements

  • Technical expertise in MRI services.
  • Administrative expertise in MRI services.
  • Ability to ensure the safety of research subjects.
  • Proficiency in conducting MRI, MR/PET, PET/CT, and CT studies.
  • Experience with or ability to work with radioactive nuclides.
  • Knowledge of scheduling systems for imaging research services.
  • Adherence to safety standards and SOPs.
  • Ability to log accurate machine time usage for billing.
  • Skills in managing relationships with investigators.
  • Comfort working with subjects/patients of all ages (2 weeks to adult).
  • Comfort working with individuals ranging from very healthy to very ill or end-of-life.

Responsibilities

  • Provide for the safety of research subjects during research studies.

Benefits

  • Sign-on bonus of $5,000 (paid in 2 installments within 12 months of hire: $2,500 within 30 days of hire date and $2,500 12 months after hire).
