About The Position

In this role, the MRI Technologist is responsible for the preparation and execution of MR procedures, warmly greeting and welcoming patients/visitors/staff, and assisting radiologists and other physicians in performing exams when necessary. Additional duties include assessing patient condition, producing good quality radiographic images, and ensuring adherence to safety standards. This is a Per Diem position, primarily providing coverage for Weekends and Evenings, but also additional shifts as needed by the department, across Brooklyn Methodist Hospital and Center for Community Health. Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Graduate from an accredited program in the school of Radiologic Technology
- N.Y. State Department of Health X-ray License
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Certification
- At least 1 year of experience
Nice To Haves
- N.Y. State Department of Health IV Certification
- ARRT Advanced Modality certification - MR
