About The Position

Monarch Medical Management is seeking a dedicated and patient-focused MRI Technologist to join our diagnostic imaging team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality MRI examinations while ensuring exceptional patient care, safety, and comfort throughout the imaging process. This position offers the opportunity to work alongside a multidisciplinary team committed to delivering outstanding patient outcomes across our growing network of healthcare facilities.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
  • Current ARRT certification in Radiography (R).
  • Current ARRT certification in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MR) or registry eligible.
  • Current Louisiana Radiologic Technologist License.
  • Current BLS/CPR certification.
  • Strong knowledge of MRI safety protocols and imaging procedures.
  • Excellent communication and patient service skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum of one year of MRI experience.
  • Experience working in an outpatient imaging center or multi-specialty healthcare setting.
  • Knowledge of electronic medical records (EMR) systems.

Responsibilities

  • Perform MRI procedures in accordance with physician orders and established imaging protocols.
  • Ensure patient safety by screening patients for contraindications and maintaining MRI safety standards.
  • Position patients appropriately and provide clear instructions to obtain optimal image quality.
  • Monitor patients during procedures and respond appropriately to any concerns or adverse reactions.
  • Operate and maintain MRI equipment according to manufacturer and facility guidelines.
  • Verify patient information, medical history, and examination requirements prior to scanning.
  • Accurately document procedures and maintain patient records within the electronic medical record system.
  • Collaborate with radiologists, providers, and clinical staff to ensure timely and accurate patient care.
  • Maintain compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and all applicable regulatory standards.
  • Participate in quality assurance and equipment maintenance activities.
  • Travel between clinic locations as needed to support operational needs.
