MRI Technician (Allied)
About The Position
The MRI Technician performs MRI-related work in the Rad-MRI specialty. Candidates must live at least 50 miles from the work location; local candidates within 50 miles are not eligible. The schedule is Monday through Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. The role also includes call every other Thursday from 11:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m., and every 10th weekend on Saturday from 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. and Sunday from 11:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. The technician must work two of the three major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day) and one minor holiday (the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve). Required credentials are BLS and ARRT-MRI. Compliance must be completed by the Wednesday before a Monday start, and a badge photo is required.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience within the specialty.
- BLS certification.
- ARRT-MRI certification.
- Must not be a local candidate residing within 50 miles.
Responsibilities
- Perform MRI-related work in the Rad-MRI specialty.
- Participate in the assigned call schedule.
- Work the required major and minor holidays.
