MRI Tech - Per Diem - Oceanside
About The Position
The MRI Tech works at Scripps Medical Center Jefferson in Oceanside, an outpatient facility with a collaborative team. The role requires flexibility to float to other Scripps Clinic locations based on business needs. This is a casual per diem position with varied 8-hour shifts. A minimum of four days of availability per month is required, including at least two weekend days; scheduling is based on department needs. The position supports patient-centered care as part of the Scripps Health team. Requirements
- ARRT(MR), ARMRIT, or CRT certification.
- Completion of a venipuncture class. The certificate must be provided at application, and 10 sticks must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Completion of a formal training or educational program at an approved school of Radiology Technology, or equivalent radiologic imaging education and experience obtained through a hospital-based training program or other formalized on-the-job program, in combination with current licensure or certification.
- Availability for at least four days per month, including at least two weekend days.
- Flexibility to float to other Scripps Clinic locations based on business needs.
