About The Position
MUSC/Florence Medical Center is seeking a Full-Time MRI Tech Aide to join their staff. This role primarily involves assisting the Technologist and department with a variety of clerical and patient care activities. Responsibilities include receiving and transporting patients, answering questions regarding procedures, preparing imaging rooms, stocking supplies, and assisting the Technologist with procedures as needed. Candidates must be 18 years or older. MUSC Health Florence Medical Center is a leading regional acute care facility with 396 patient beds and over 1,500 employees. The facility utilizes advanced technology and medical innovation across a wide range of services including heart and vascular care, cancer treatment, orthopedic and general surgery, diagnostics, women’s health, and rehabilitation services. The hospital also features an accredited Chest Pain Center and an advanced Primary Stroke Center.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older.
- High School Diploma or GED
- BLS certification is required.
Responsibilities
- Assists Technologist and department by performing a variety of clerical and patient care activities.
- Receives and transports patients.
- Answers questions regarding procedures.
- Preparation of imaging rooms.
- Stocking of supplies.
- Assisting Technologist with procedures as needed.
