About The Position
BJC HealthCare System is seeking a Full-Time MR Technologist (Imaging) for Barnes-Jewish Hospital MRI Department. This is an Advanced Modality Technologist position working with Siemens MRI Machines. The hospital is the largest in Missouri and is ranked as one of the nation's top hospitals. Requirements
- Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography - R.T.(R) and/or MR
- Associate's Degree or Trade School equivalency (or higher level of education)
- No Experience
- No Experience (Supervisor Experience)
- IEMA - Illinois only, excl MRI
- RTR,CT,MR,M,BD,CI,VI,RCIS,RCES

Responsibilities
- Performs diagnostic imaging procedures in at least one advanced imaging modality (defined as Computed Tomography (CT), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Interventional, Mammography, Bone Density, Cardiac Catheterization) on adults and/or pediatric patients for the purpose of diagnosis and/or treatment, and quality control.
- Prepares patient and equipment for procedures.
- Performs studies independently, in on-call situations, portable exams, and other site as required by work area.
