About The Position
The Center for Sports Medicine and Orthopaedics is seeking an MRI Medical Assistant for a part-time position in Chattanooga, TN. The Center for Sports Medicine & Orthopaedics is Chattanooga's leading provider of multi-specialty orthopaedic care since 1979, with 12 convenient locations. They offer advanced sports medicine, orthopaedics, surgery, physical and occupational therapy, and sports training.
Requirements
- Completion of a formal medical assistant training program and/or Medical Assistant certification.
- BLS (CPR) certification required.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills required.
- Weekend availability needed.
Nice To Haves
- At least two years experience in outpatient clinic setting desired.
- Will consider recent graduate of medical assistant training program.
Responsibilities
- Assist the MRI team in patient care.
- Ensure efficient and effective patient care and flow through the MRI department.
- Obtain complete and accurate information from patients.
