About The Position

Prepares for MRI examinations on patients; coordinates patient flow and the activities of the MRI scanner. The position requires the ability to concentrate on details in spite of interruptions and attend to tasks for more than 30 minutes at a time. Individuals must be able to understand and relate theories behind several related concepts and remember multiple tasks given over long periods of time.

Requirements

• High school graduate required
• Microsoft Office required
• Medical terminology, specifically in MRI, required
• CPR certification required
• 2 years at MRI DIA, Level 1 or other equivalent work experience
• Experience with direct patient care experience required
• Excellent interpersonal, phone etiquette, and computer skills required
• Ability to function under pressure of time demands
• Position requires eye-hand and gross body coordination skills
• Extensive walking
• Ability to concentrate on details in spite of interruptions
• Ability to attend to tasks for more than 30 minutes at a time
• Ability to understand and relate theories behind several related concepts
• Ability to remember multiple tasks given over long periods of time
