About The Position

The MRC Technician delivers and removes cold drink equipment for customers and performs mechanical services on that equipment. The role prepares, refurbishes, and remanufactures equipment to meet market and customer expectations, and keeps refrigeration equipment in proper operating condition. The technician prepares equipment to company standards, maintains positive customer relationships, and keeps the work area clean and safe. The position is based in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, and is full-time, with a Monday-through-Friday schedule from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Pay is $19.00 per hour.

Work conditions vary depending on the customer being served. The job may involve stairs and customer back rooms, exposure to outside elements and heat, cold, rain, or snow, and frequent automobile travel to customer accounts. Physical demands include frequently handling equipment, bending, standing, walking, reaching, kneeling, and squatting, as well as occasional balancing, climbing, sitting, and reaching. The employee must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull less than 50 pounds.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Must be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver's license.
• Driving record must meet MVR policy guidelines.
• Communication, dexterity, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
• Must be able to read, speak, and write in English to communicate with customers, coworkers, and supervisor.
• Ability to lift and carry less than 50 pounds and push and pull less than 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• General electrical, mechanical, and technical background preferred.
