This MRB Coordinator I is responsible for keeping up with the influx of non-conforming product, keeping track of inventory, as well as evaluating and transacting product in a timely manner. This role will collaborate with internal Quality team members from all SIG locations, Assembly Inspectors, and Engineering.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent with 0-2 years of experience and the ability to be range certified.
  • Ability to use PC systems, copiers, and programs including, but not limited to Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, as well as skills in MRP systems (Oracle).
  • Working toward achieving PPI Certification.
  • Must be able to clearly, concisely, and accurately convey ideas and information to others, both verbally and in written form.
  • Complete assigned tasks on time.
  • Communicate effectively to supervision regarding problems and corrective action.
  • Must wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) where required.
  • Must comply with all work exposure EH&S training requirements and adhere to SIG SAUER Inc. security mandates.

Responsibilities

  • Learn how to identify good and bad parts on a regular basis.
  • Learn the product disposition process.
  • Keep accurate counts of parts and accurately transact them in the system.
  • Create NMRs and move product into the correct physical location.
  • Assist in maintaining the integrity of working documents and receipt numbers.
  • Engage in Continuous Improvement projects and tasks.
  • Participate in and sustain 5S Standards.
  • Must follow all required Safety and ISO procedures
  • Regular on-site attendance and punctuality is a necessary function of this position.
  • May be required to work in other functional areas and/or facilities depending on business needs.
  • May be required to work overtime or alternate shifts based on business needs.
  • Miscellaneous duties as assigned.
