The Avionics Technician is responsible for the inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and installation of aircraft avionics, electronic systems, and associated components to ensure mission readiness and operational reliability. This role applies technical knowledge of electrical and electronic principles to diagnose malfunctions, perform corrective actions, and restore system functionality in accordance with technical publications, maintenance procedures, and customer requirements. The Avionics Technician utilizes a variety of test equipment, wiring diagrams, blueprints, and technical data to support aircraft and Ground Control Station (GCS) operations while ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and security standards. Working independently and as part of a maintenance team, this position supports both CONUS and OCONUS operations and requires the ability to perform in dynamic, mission-focused environments while maintaining readiness for worldwide deployment.
