MP-ICAM / Identity Engineer
About The Position
Peraton is hiring an advisor-level identity engineer to support AFRH’s DOD MP-ICAM integration, covering CAC/PIV authentication, federation, directory services, and privileged-access flows. The role designs and implements identity integration, configures authentication and federation, supports identity controls for the ATO package, and develops identity architecture artifacts for the Government. The position is contingent upon contract award. The role requires advisor-level identity/ICAM engineering experience in DOD or Federal environments, fluency with CAC/PIV, SAML, OAuth, OIDC, and Active Directory, and experience with PKI operations and certificate lifecycle management. Candidates must meet one of the stated education-and-experience combinations, have federal facility access/background investigation clearance, be U.S. citizens, and sign an NDA by Day 1.
Requirements
- Advisor-level identity/ICAM engineering experience with DOD or Federal organizations.
- Fluency in CAC/PIV, SAML, OAuth, OIDC, and Active Directory.
- Experience with PKI operations and certificate lifecycle management.
- Experience with DOD MP-ICAM or an equivalent Federal identity platform.
- Education and experience: bachelor's degree plus 8 years, master's degree plus 6 years, Ph.D. plus 3 years, associate degree plus 10 years, or 12 years of experience without a degree.
- Federal facility access/background investigation clearance.
- U.S. citizenship.
- Signed Non-Disclosure Agreement by Day 1.
Nice To Haves

- CISSP, Security+, or equivalent certification.
- DoD 8570 IAT-II/III qualification.
- SailPoint, Okta, or Ping identity-platform certification.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement AFRH's identity integration with DOD MP-ICAM.
- Configure CAC/PIV authentication, SAML/OAuth federation, and directory synchronization.
- Partner with Cyber/ATO/MDIO on identity controls for the ATO package.
- Support provisioning, deprovisioning, and privileged-access workflows.
- Author identity architecture artifacts and transmit them to the Government.
