About The Position
Fitzgerald Lawn Care is hiring a Mower / Groundskeeper for an immediate full-time job opportunity. This is a hands-on role focused on lawn mowing, trimming, and seasonal cleanups. As a Mower/Groundskeeper, you will operate commercial equipment, maintain properties, and support the crew to ensure high-quality results for customers. Starting pay is $20–$25 per hour based on experience.
Requirements
- Experience operating zero-turn mowers required.
- Ability to work in physically demanding conditions and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Strong teamwork, reliability, and communication skills.
Nice To Haves
- Previous lawn care, landscaping, or outdoor labor experience preferred.
- Valid driver’s license preferred.
Responsibilities
- Operate zero-turn lawn mowers safely and efficiently.
- Perform weekly lawn maintenance including mowing, trimming, edging, and blowing.
- Assist with spring and fall cleanups, including leaf removal, debris hauling, and property prep.
- Maintain equipment such as mowers, trimmers, and blowers to ensure proper operation.
- Follow company safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
- Load and unload tools and materials for daily routes.
- Perform general outdoor labor tasks as needed.
