About The Position

As a Moving Consultant, you’ll be the first voice customers hear when they’re planning one of life’s biggest transitions. You’ll guide them through the moving process with expertise, empathy, and cutting-edge technology. YOUR MISSION: 📞 Close high-value deals from warm inbound leads (iLeads, web leads, & company sources) 💻 Conduct virtual consultations using advanced tools like YEMBO’s Smart Consult technology 📝 Craft competitive, profitable pricing packages that win business and exceed sales targets 🤝 Partner with operations teams to ensure flawless customer experiences from quote to move day ⭐ Deliver best-in-class customer service that turns clients into raving fans

  • Experience: Direct sales experience is a major plus; moving industry background is ideal but not required because we’ll train the right person!
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in MS Excel, MS Outlook, and comfortable learning new platforms
  • Math Skills: Confident working with pricing calculations, percentages, ratios, and profitability analysis
  • Physical Demands: Occasional lifting up to 10 lbs; primarily sedentary office work with computer use
  • Vision Requirements: Close/peripheral vision and ability to adjust focus for extended screen time

Responsibilities

  • Meet and crush established sales volume and call metrics
  • Deliver compelling virtual sales presentations that convert prospects into clients
  • Conduct virtual surveys and provide accurate, competitive estimates
  • Develop customized pricing packages that maximize profitability and win rates
  • Answer inbound inquiries within target metrics to maintain high service levels
  • Clearly communicate customer requirements to operations teams
  • Ensure expectations are set and exceeded throughout the moving journey
  • Maintain detailed records of sales activities, customer interactions, and survey dates
  • Produce weekly activity reports and RAP (Revenue Achievement Performance) reports
  • Track performance against goals and adjust strategies to stay on target
