About The Position

The Staff Pad is partnering with a global leader in fine art logistics to hire a Mover. This is a hands-on role responsible for the safe handling, transportation, delivery, and installation of high-value furniture, artwork, antiques, and personal property. This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in precision, professionalism, and working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. You’ll play a key role in ensuring valuable and fragile items are handled with care and delivered safely and efficiently.

Requirements

Experience in moving, logistics, delivery, or installation work
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work in fast-paced and physically active environments
Professional communication and customer service skills
Ability to safely handle high-value and fragile items
Strong teamwork and problem-solving abilities
Ability to lift and maneuver up to 70 lbs regularly
Ability to push/pull up to 150 lbs using appropriate equipment
Comfortable with standing, walking, kneeling, crouching, bending, twisting, and reaching throughout the workday

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with OSHA and workplace safety standards
Experience handling fine art, antiques, or specialty furniture
Experience using moving and logistics equipment
Experience using dollies, pallet jacks, hand trucks, J-bars and related moving equipment

Responsibilities

Perform local and interstate collections and deliveries
Safely pack, transport, and install fine art, antiques, and furniture
Load and unload trucks with care and precision
Assist with installations and specialty projects on-site
Prepare and maintain condition reports, trip manifests, and job-related paperwork
Coordinate with warehouse and dispatch teams to ensure smooth operations
Maintain clean, organized, and properly equipped vehicles
Communicate any trip or manifest changes to Dispatch prior to execution
Support and train junior art handlers as needed
Maintain a high level of detail and professionalism on every project
