About The Position

ServiceMaster TEAM is hiring a Pack-out Mover/Driver and Helper for its DFW mitigation team. The role supports customers during restoration by moving furniture and personal belongings to and from the company’s storage facility while reconstruction is underway at their homes and properties. When moves are not scheduled, the employee assists other departments with tasks inside and outside the facility as needed, including support during emergency restoration losses. The position involves packing and transporting belongings, assisting with cleaning and deodorization, operating company vehicles, and following safety processes. Participation in an after-hours on-call rotation every 3–4 weeks is mandatory as needed, including nights and weekends.

Requirements

Valid Texas driver’s license.
Ability to lift at least 50 pounds regularly with no limitations.
Ability to sit, stand, and walk for prolonged periods.
Good customer service skills.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Must pass a background check.

Responsibilities

Provide professional, careful service to customers and their belongings.
Disassemble, wrap, protect, and load customers’ belongings and furniture following fire or water losses, and transport them between homes and the storage facility.
Assist with cleaning and deodorization of structures and moving contents as required.
Follow the company’s safety processes.
Document pre-existing conditions on belongings before wrapping or moving them.
Safely operate company vehicles and keep them neat and orderly.
Assist other departments with tasks inside and outside the facility, including support during emergency restoration losses.
Participate in the after-hours on-call rotation every 3–4 weeks as needed, including nights and weekends.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
