About The Position

HireNow Staffing is actively recruiting a Movement Restoration & Orthopedic Wellness Therapist to join one of our valued client partners in Wilmington, Delaware. This full-time opportunity is ideal for a licensed Physical Therapist who is passionate about helping individuals regain mobility, overcome physical limitations, and improve long-term functional health through evidence-based outpatient rehabilitation. The successful candidate will work within a collaborative orthopedic care environment focused on personalized treatment, measurable patient outcomes, and compassionate care. This position offers the opportunity to treat a diverse orthopedic population while partnering with physicians and rehabilitation professionals dedicated to helping patients safely return to work, recreation, and daily life.

Requirements

  • Current Physical Therapist (PT) license in Delaware or eligibility to obtain Delaware licensure before employment.
  • Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent accredited Physical Therapy degree.
  • Strong orthopedic rehabilitation evaluation and treatment skills.
  • Excellent clinical reasoning and patient education abilities.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to independently manage patient caseloads while working collaboratively with healthcare teams.
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills.
  • Must currently reside within commuting distance of Wilmington, Delaware, or be prepared to relocate independently before employment.
  • Authorized to work in United States.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous outpatient orthopedic rehabilitation experience.
  • New graduates with strong orthopedic clinical rotations are encouraged to apply.
  • Experience treating post-surgical orthopedic patients and musculoskeletal injuries.
  • Manual therapy, dry needling, or orthopedic specialty certifications.
  • Knowledge of Medicare documentation and rehabilitation compliance.
  • Experience implementing return-to-function rehabilitation programs.
  • Stable employment history demonstrating continued professional growth.

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive orthopedic and movement assessments.
  • Develop individualized rehabilitation plans based on patient goals and clinical findings.
  • Deliver evidence-based physical therapy interventions that improve mobility, strength, flexibility, balance, and functional performance.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans to maximize recovery.
  • Educate patients on injury prevention, body mechanics, wellness, and home exercise programs.
  • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare professionals to coordinate treatment plans.
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation that meets regulatory and payer requirements.
  • Support departmental quality improvement initiatives and clinical best practices.
  • Build positive patient relationships through exceptional communication and compassionate care.
  • Participate in continuing education and professional development activities.
