About The Position

MUSC Health is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Neurologist with training or a strong clinical interest in Movement Disorders to join our growing neurosciences team serving Bluffton and Beaufort, South Carolina. This position is fully supported by the Medical University of South Carolina. Physicians will cover two locations – Beaufort, SC, near Beaufort Memorial Hospital, and Bluffton, SC, in a new state-of-the-art Medical Office Building. The MUSC Department of Neurology is nationally recognized for comprehensive and innovative neurological care, offering access to a broad spectrum of subspecialty programs, including South Carolina’s Level 4 Epilepsy Center, Comprehensive Stroke Center, Parkinson’s Foundation Center of Excellence, the state's first Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) Care Center, ALS Association Certified Treatment Center of Excellence, and a newly renovated Outpatient Memory Care Center.

Requirements

• Board-certified or board-eligible Neurologist
• Training or a strong clinical interest in Movement Disorders

Responsibilities

• Cover two locations: Beaufort, SC, near Beaufort Memorial Hospital, and Bluffton, SC, in a new state-of-the-art Medical Office Building.
• Outpatient-focused practice with minimal inpatient rounding.
• Practice in a new Medical Office Building in Bluffton.
• Provide care to patients with Movement Disorders.
