About The Position

Under the general direction of the Executive Director, the Move-In Coordinator is primarily responsible for coordinating move-ins and assisting with marketing activities for the community. This role involves ensuring residents are settled and understand the services available, while also contributing to the community's marketing efforts.

Requirements

Excellent communication skills.
Compassion for older adults.
Must possess a valid driver's license.
Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Responsibilities

Coordinate move-ins for the community.
Assist in the implementation of marketing plans.
Assist in networking and community outreach programs.
Develop rapport and positive relationships with prospects.
Ensure model suites are well-maintained.
Complete reports as required.
Send cards and notes to prospects and current residents in the hospital.
Ensure suites are ready for move-in according to standards.
Provide tours to prospects.
Review meals, activities, housekeeping, and transportation needs with new move-ins.
Ensure new move-ins are added to the housekeeping schedule.
Ensure new move-ins understand the Life Enrichment Calendar.
Check in with new residents after their first week to address any questions or concerns.
Comply with American House's philosophy and policies.
Assist in effective communication to the Leadership team regarding marketing, sales, and census issues.
Perform other duties as assigned.
