About The Position

Assist Mounting Operator with set-up and running mounting equipment. Maintain good quality, productivity, and work attitude. This role involves assisting the operator with setting up and running required jobs, retrieving necessary materials and equipment, and maintaining quality standards. The apprentice will report any problems or discrepancies to the die cutting assistant/department manager, keep the work area clean, and work overtime when needed. Accurate time and quantity reporting using MIS systems is also required, along with performing other requested tasks.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent/Technical or equivalent experience
• Mechanical aptitude
• Ability to measure in fractions of inches up to and including 32nds
• Ability to communicate/understand written as well as oral instructions
• Ability to apply written instructions to machine set-up
• Basic Math skills including skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
• Reliability through attendance, punctuality, and attention to workstation
• Ability to anticipate problems and head them off
• Supports a safe work environment
• Knowledge of production materials

Responsibilities
