Motorsport Event Staff - Weekend Vacancies
About The Position
FAT Karting League is seeking enthusiastic and hard-working individuals to join their weekend staff crew for 2026 events in Florida. This is a fast-paced, hands-on role where you will be part of a team delivering professional, high-energy race weekends designed for the next generation of drivers. While prior motorsport experience is not required, the right attitude is essential. The organization is focused on creating a fair and accessible pathway in motorsport, removing barriers and allowing talent to shine. They are building a movement beyond just race weekends and are looking for people to help deliver this vision trackside.
Requirements
- Enthusiastic and hard-working attitude.
- Passion for motorsport.
- Ability to travel to different racecourses on event weekends.
- For Driver Coaches: Passion and understanding of motorsport, ability to pass knowledge on, good communication skills, comfort communicating with and working with children.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in motorsport.
- Specific skills for roles like Event Operations (organized, proactive, calm under pressure), Customer Experience (clear, confident, great with people), Mechanics (detail-focused), Race Operations (structure, awareness, good judgment).
Responsibilities
- Support FAT Karting League's Florida events on weekends.
- Deliver race weekends that are professional, high energy, and built for the next generation of drivers.
- Work in various roles including Event Operations, Customer Experience, Mechanics, Race Operations (Race Director/Clerk, Marshals, Dummy Grid, Timekeeping), and Driver Coaches.
- Travel to different racecourses on event weekends.
