About The Position
Bob’s Motorcycles is looking for a driven, hands-on Service Porter to join our team full-time. From handling bikes of all sizes to helping to keep the shop running smoothly, you’ll play a key part in delivering the high-quality experience we’re known for. This position runs Tuesday–Saturday and offers competitive starting pay of $16–$17 per hour based on experience and abilities.
Requirements
- Ability to confidently maneuver motorcycles of all sizes.
- Clean driver record and drug test.
- Self-motivated, energetic, and reliable.
- Positive attitude toward customer service and relationship with coworkers.
- Professional appearance and communication skills.
- Eligible to work in the USA.
Nice To Haves
- Valid motorcycle license, or previous experience with motorcycles, is preferred.
- Ability to transport a 10ft trailer is a plus.
- Motorcycle, powersports, dealership, or automotive experience are especially welcome.
Responsibilities
- Push bikes out before shop opens and in after shop closes, or as directed.
- Wash motorcycles for dealer inventory and service customers.
- Uncrate motorcycles to rolling chassis or for inspection and storage.
- Operate forklift as directed.
- Maintain service demo fleet, such as checking tire pressure and oil levels and cleaning bikes as needed.
- Other duties as requested.
