About The Position

The Motor Vehicle Examiner II is a fast-paced position that requires dealing with large numbers of customers every day to administer all types of exams including, written, road, Commercial Driver Permit and Commercial Driver’s License. Candidates should be able to work independently and make informed decisions. Attention to detail is critical. The ability to process large sums of money and excellent customer service skills are required for this position. This is not a remote position and work will take place within the Newport and St. Johnsbury offices.

Requirements

Four (4) or more years of experience in a customer or client service role that includes significant public contact AND regular use of computer programs.
Agree to be finger-printed and pass a background investigation (including criminal, financial and traffic records checks).
A current, valid driver's license is required.
Applicant's vision must be correctable to 20/40 (Snellen Test) in both eyes, with normal color perception and field of vision.
A valid Commercial driver's license with all endorsements is required within one (1) year of employment.
