About The Position

The Motor Technician inspects, analyzes, tests, measures, repairs, and performs full or partial overhauls on assemblies or subassemblies of directional motors and other oilfield drilling components. The position is located at Turbo Drill Industries Inc in Conroe, Texas, and is full time.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble and reassemble equipment to pristine condition.
• Ensure tools and test equipment are serviceable before repair work and accounted for after each repair.
• Operate an overhead crane, forklift, and break-out machine safely and effectively.
• Complete related documentation and accurately record information on Service Work Orders.
• Use appropriate measuring equipment for each function and proper tooling for motor maintenance.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized workspace.
• Maintain tool maintenance records as required.
• Accurately report inventory consumption and obtain approval before scrapping components.
• Support compliance with reliability objectives, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• Perform some repair and maintenance of plant equipment.
• Assist with physical asset and inventory counts and maintenance of inventory and shop supplies.
• Paint and stencil tools.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
