About The Position
Under occasional supervision, operates a motor grader in the maintenance and construction of all roads throughout the County as assigned. This role also includes maintenance of drainage systems, rights of way, and signs.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- 2-4 years of experience in public works construction and maintenance operations and/or heavy equipment operation.
- Valid driver's license.
Responsibilities
- Operates a motor grader in the maintenance and construction of roads.
- Performs maintenance of drainage systems, rights of way, and signs.
- Operates other heavy equipment such as bush hog, terrain king, backhoe, and front loader.
- Operates hand and power tools.
- Performs other related work as required.
