Requirements

• Less than a High School Diploma

Responsibilities

• Operates Motor Grader, which is used to grade excavation and embankment and to lay asphalt, base and other materials.
• May blade haul roads and do other general motor grader work, but does not perform finish grade work to close specification tolerances.
• This operator may be a learner in the first phase of learning the skills of motor grader work.
• May oil, grease or otherwise service and make necessary adjustments to equipment as needed.
• Whatever enhances the operations of the company.
• Comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures. Report all unsafe activities to supervisor and/or Human Resources.
• Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.
• Provide leadership to others through example and sharing of knowledge/skill.
