About The Position

Operate robots to produce welded assemblies. The operator will be responsible for the incidental maintenance of the machine such as cone/tip cleaning and maintenance, weld wire replacement and machine area cleaning. They will be responsible for properly loading parts, using the agreed upon sequence and to identify good welds or bad welds. The role also involves responsibility for various reports and data collection, such as FTQ, work gen and scrap reports. The operator must inform the editor of any bad welds and make changes, keep accurate day to day maintenance logs of robot operation, and maintain good housekeeping practices. Additionally, the role requires the ability to touch up welds that need minor repairs and accurately job off using current process. The company emphasizes maintaining Polaris Values and performing miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED required.
Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
Must be willing to attend Robot Training.
Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.
Good communication skills.

Welding experience preferred.

Responsibilities
