About The Position

Countryside YMCA is seeking friendly, dependable Motion Zone Assistants to supervise children ages 7–13 in an interactive activity space. The role involves encouraging active participation and positive interactions, assisting children with activities and interactive equipment, monitoring sign-in and sign-out, and maintaining a clean, organized, and safe environment. Employees must follow YMCA policies and child protection guidelines and participate in required training and staff meetings. Countryside YMCA maintains a zero-tolerance policy for abuse. Employees are required to complete appropriate screening and training, follow child protection policies, and immediately report concerns or inappropriate behavior. Requirements

Must be at least 16 years old.
Friendly, responsible, and dependable.
Enjoys working with children and communicates well with others.
Willingness to complete required training and pre-employment screening.
Ability to stand, bend, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience working with children.
CPR and First Aid certification.

Responsibilities
